I went and wrote a poem for… these two… but in here, Jehan wrote it… and… -lies on floor-
His poems are definitely so much better though but I wanted to put something original!
Anyways, I know a lot of people have been waiting for these two, so here they are! The most popular pairing with Courfeyrac I think? I also think they are very cute together.
In my headcanon, Courf looks over Jehan’s shoulder to see what he’s writing sometimes, and he’d memorize it cuz Courf could totally do that, and he’d repeat it to Jehan when there weren’t too many people around, and it’d be so embarrassing but would make Jehan swoon like nobody’s business.
For some reason, I was really excited to do Feuilly. And I’d never drawn him before.
All I know about him though, honestly, is that he’s the only non-student who’s actually working, he’s into Poland and fans, and he’s good with money??

So I know that people pair Bossuet and Joly together and they’re silly and all BUT I THINK THAT THESE TWO ARE THE BEST DORK-BROS. (I’m not demeaning BossuetxJoly though because I’m pretty convinced there is no such thing as a crack pairing within the Amis)
To anyone else, Courf just sounds like he’s saying the same name over and over with little differences in pronunciations and titles, but in actuality, he’s saying Bossuet’s many names with the different spellings and Bossuet gets it and it’s funny so he encourages Courf to keep at it and would totally be flattered by it.
It just seems like something they’d do.

I couldn’t find any Bahorel/Courfeyrac! Maybe I’m not looking hard enough? But yeah, I feel like Bahorel would also play along with Courf’s flirting. It’d go beyond flirting. It’d be like just rip each other’s clothes off already? But they aren’t like that so that never happens. So everyone in the room is just frustrated.

I guess it’s just really hard for me to see these two together cuz it was REALLY HARD drawing this scene. I saw a few things on tumblr and apparently these guys have a ship? I am intrigued.
But yes, sometimes Combeferre would be like “lol stahp” but there will be times when Courf would make a move and Combe would do or say something that would embarrass Courf too much to continue and it’d be like ‘Combe: score 1, Courf: score 0’.
